Open GitHub.com in your web browser.
Open GitKraken and open your class repository (BIOS6623)
PULL (down arrow button). The grabs the last updated version from GitHub.com. This will be the lastest version because the last step is always to PUSH (up arrow button) to GitHUb.com at the end of your work session (or more often if you are doing a power work session).
Start editing your work. After a medium major set of changes to a file you want to in GitKraken stage the repository, make a comment on what changed, and commit it. DO THIS OFTEN. If you make lots of changes and don’t save often, then if you want to go back to a previous version, you have to accept a previous version with lots of changes in lots of files. COMMIT OFTEN.
At the end of your work session, PUSH (up arrow). If you are working off line. Remember to PUSH as soon as you get connected.
The WIP folder at the top of GitKraken is the place to click. That should give you the right tool bar needed to do staging and committing.
